01The brief

Give Surat a city page it trusts, one that people open every day, then make that attention useful to the brands that serve the city.

02What we did

  1. 01

It began in 2014 as @iamsuratcity. It grew one useful post at a time: news checked before it goes up, places worth the trip, jobs that are real.

  2. 02

Each audience then got a page of its own. News, food, street food, jobs and Discover Surat each run on their own calendar and their own voice, in Gujarati, Hindi, Hinglish and English.

  3. 03

Much of the feed is shot by us, from street level to the drone, so it looks like Surat and not like a template.

  4. 04

Brands reach the city through the same pages, with posts and carousels written for each page's audience.
